OKINAWA HOSTEL YANBARU FUKURO is in the quiet village northern Okinawa main island since july, 2012.
Yanbaru Fukuro is a small hostel and an ordinary Okinawan house but there is comfortable and peaceful atmosphere different from resort hotels. We hope you feel the special things in our usual life. We try to help you have natural and beautiful experiences in OKINAWA especially northern area in this island.
Rooms
There are 3 private rooms and a group room in this house. Every guests share a shower room and two toilets.
Facilities
You can use communal area. Kitchen, internet WI-FI, parking, air conditioning (every rooms) available(free). laundry, rental bike, BBQ grill available.

We recommend to make sure the place of our house on the map in advance. Please don't enter the phone number onto the car navigation system. It might show the wrong place in this case.
Please press the doorbell after park your car in front of our entrance signboard "Okinawa Hostel Yanbaru Fukuro".
Do not park in neighbor's place.
By Bus
From Naha air port or Naha bus terminal
It takes an hour 45 minutes by the express bus No.111 or 117 from Naha air port or Naha bus terminal to Nago bus terminal.
From Nago bus terminal, take the bus No.65 to Asahikawa-Iriguchi（旭川入口）bus stop (it's nearest bus stop to our hostel), then it takes 3 minutes walk to our hostel.
You can catch a taxi at Nago bus terminal. The cost (about 700 yen) is similar to the bus's if you are 2 - 3 people. Please show this address "名護市屋部２０５−３ 沖縄素泊まり宿やんばるふくろう" to the driver.
NOTE: The last bus from Naha airport to Nago is 20:15. Check your arriving time to the airport.

Environment
There is the natural beach near Yanbaru Fukuro. It takes about 5 minutes by walking.
You can get to some local stores, restaurants and a post office with ATM by walking. However, please don't expect very convenience like city.
Sight seeing
To Churaumi Aquarium:25 minutes by car. 30 minutes by bus No 65.
To Kouri Island:30 minute by car.
To Nakijin Castle ruins35 minutes by car. 40 munites by bus No.65.
To Sesoko Island:15 minutes by car.
To Motobu port (to Ie Island):15 minutes by car. 15 minutes by bus No.65.
To Toguchi Port (to Minna Island):20 minuts by car. 25 minutes by bus No.65.

Tours
Even if you have no car, don't give up to get to beautiful spots in Northern Okinawa. We can arrange and provide original flexible tours for you.
Notes: Available or not depends on the weather and sea conditions. We can not accept the reservation of tours in advance. Please ask to us after check-in.

Entry form
I moved to Okinawa from Tokyo in 2003. Then started the Okinawa Hostel Yanbaru Fukuro in 2012 summer with my wife. I love the natural beautiful places around Yanbaru (Northern area in Okinawa main island). And I also love having conversation with guests from allover the world whether you like drinking beer or not (though I love beer anyway). I will be able to help your trip in Okinawa!
